i'm whistling... something i haven't done in weeks. why? because my husband and i are serious about getting out of debt. we want to buy a house and not have the same damn resolution of being better with our money next year. we're determined to be out of debt, except the house, by next christmas.

the best part, we are hoping to start making more money through photography and music. yay!

as i finish up the year here, i know that there are people whom i'm missing. first and foremost, i miss my husband. he's out on the east side of the state. then, my family is all in michigan, and i am missing my nieces and nephews grow up. and i haven't felt the need to shoot a camera in weeks. i miss them. and they are my muse. my husband and my family. i need them all, and i'm missing them.

so,

i've been quite busy over the past five months, sorry for the break and the lack of new work. hopefully i'll have time to put stuff up soon.

school is going to be starting again sonn, i can't wait. i miss the kids and i need some routine in my life again.

i will be planning some big events in my life over the next little while, so stay tuned in for that.

i have realized that the person i'm suppose to marry thinks the same of me too, and we're pretty frickin' happy about that. more to follow.

i'm in sunny jacksonville, but it won't be for much longer, so i need to write this quickly.

things are going well. on the lines of artwork, i had someone buy two of my prints, wanderlost and happiness, and was great to know that someone wanted to buy my pictures.

i have been so insanely busy with working more freelance with my job and gearing up for spring break that i've had no life. today is the first day in months that i've actually been able to sit down at the computer and just relax. i hope that everyone is alright, and that, if i've been away too long, that you forgive me for any lapse in contact over the past month. i miss you all, will have new work up soon.

so, to all of you who know what it's like to be completely in despair, my computer broke this week. no kidding, it just stopped working. it won't even turn on. all my work is on there (i backed that up, of course, so i have hard copies) but there is not hope for me to make this thing work again.

so, this means that i will probably be even longer in getting up some new work, and i won't be able to make any money while i'm without my computer. if you'd like to contribute to my "make abby happy and help her earn some money" fund. let me know. thanks.
